
The MRLF Solidarity Action Fellowship is a hands-on training program delivering a suite of action-ready skills to emerging labor leaders.
Through five core sessions, two field experiences, and a final capstone, fellows build skills in workplace organizing, labor history, political strategy, economic justice, and campaign planning all grounded in solidarity and worker power.
Two cohorts are offered for increased accessibility: Evening and Daytime
Why participate?
Skill Development:
1:1 organizing, leader identification, power mapping, campaign planning, messaging, narrative, digital organizing, GOTV, and conflict resolution.
Professional Growth:
Mentorship from affiliates, hands-on campaign exposure, and connections across the labor and community sector
Recognition:
Capstone presentation, certificate of completion, and potential referrals to union / campaign roles

Expectations
- Attend all sessions, field visits, and the capstone event
- Participate fully in discussions, role plays, and group work
- Complete reflections and maintain a development journal
- Develop an individual organizing or campaign plan
- Present a final capstone connected to your affiliate needs
