Early voting now underway in Minneapolis

Don’t want to wait in line on Election Day? Vote early! All voters in Minnesota can choose to vote before Election Day by absentee ballot without providing a reason.
You can vote by mail, or you can vote early in-person, starting 46 days before each election. For the November 7, 2017 municipal election, early voting began Friday, September 22, by mail and in-person.
Vote Early In-Person
In-person early voting will be offered for the November 7, 2017 Minneapolis municipal election and began September 22, 2017.
The Early Vote Center is located downtown at 217 S. Third St., at the corner of Third Ave. S. and Third St. S., one block from City Hall.
Effective October 23, expanded voting hours there will be Monday – Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Weekend hours will be added for the final two weekends before Election Day:
• Saturday, October 28 from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
• Sunday, October 29 from 12 noon until 5:00 p.m.
• Saturday, November 4 from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
• Sunday, November 5 from 12 noon until 5:00 p.m.
Parking: Limited free voter parking will be available on 3rd Street. On the weekends, voters may use the attached parking lot as well.
