MRLF endorses Shekleton and Leuthner for St. Louis Park city council seats

Shekleton faces August 8 primary contest

From the Minneapolis Labor Review, July 28, 2017

MINNEAPOLIS — Delegates to the Minneapolis Regional Labor Federation voted July 12 to endorse two candidates for St. Louis Park City Council, Brian Shekleton in Ward 1 and Jim Leuthner in Ward 3.

To advance to the November election, Shekleton first faces three opponents in a primary election scheduled for Tuesday, August 8.

Voting will take place from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Only polling places in St. Louis Park Precincts 1, 2, 3 and 4 will be open.

The Ward 3 race will not have a primary election because only two candidates filed for the seat.
